Autosave to where? Stevo1 April 10, 2021, 3:59am 1 I have recently installed SU 21 and upgraded to windows 10 (sadly) I have been working on a model and had a bugsplat. I had a few SU models open and I think forgot to save the main model I was working on…Bugsplat. As you can see in the image it should have been autosaving every 5 minutes.

1 It does not auto save regardless wheather it is basic file or autosave 2. i dont get - i wish to have the file automatically saved every x minutes. 3. as far as i imagine backup - creating autosave file is different story innit? The auto saved file should be in the same directory as the working file. Those backups are identified with as filename~.skp If a recovery file was created, you should be able to see and open it from the Welcome window where you normally choose the template or a recent file to open.

I opened sketchup and started drawing and never saved the file. After maybe 5 hours my drawing crashed. Generally I find my autosaves in the folder where the file is located but this time, since I never saved the file, it was called untitled and now that it has crashed, can I find my autosave file somewhere?
